While the quillo was introduced by an Ohio Amish woman in 1992, the beautiful (star) dahlia pattern has been popular by the Amish for over 3 decades. The Beautiful design is hand cut and sewn by a foot pedal powered sewing machine. The quillo is then attached to the pillow top and hand knotted for fluffiness.
